Very cool! Thanks for taking and posting those pics @ The Alamo. (I fixed up your pics for you a bit.) How was the screening you attended? Lotsa people? Was the print of the film in good condition?

The theater was about half full....but, then again, sixth street in Austin doesn't get really going until later in the evening. The coolest thing was that everyone applauded during the opening credits and at the end credits. The print was quite old.....I would say the first fifteen minutes of the film had some vertical scratches, but then it cleared up. They also had it on the extra wide screen as Carpenter likes to use Panavision. The beer and the food was great and all in all it was a blast getting to see it 26 years later again.

I've been to the Draft House, it's relatively small as far as I can remember. I've seen several short films there.
