An Idea For A Great Collectible
Who else here would like to see a full-sized painted sculpture or mask of the Norwegian split-face or the Palmer head in mid-transformation? I find those images to be the most disturbing of the entire movie and would make great collectibles.

I like it!

Moneo- 01-22-2007

That would be freaking awesome! I would love to have the split-face or Palmer-things' head. And how about making a cookie jar? ;) (just kidding) Those are sweet ideas, FF.

They already made one of those:

Hello. I'm brand new here and wanted to let ppl know that YES! They do indeed make a Norwegian head. Scale 1:1 and I just received one in the mail from a private collector. Would you be interested in seeing pictures? And this site rocks!

thething.ca- 03-12-2007

Yes... Please! The only 1:1 I've ever seen is this one: It's not a model though.

Rayne00- 03-12-2007

Okay folks. Give me a day or two to get some time to take decent pics. It's very detailed, so I want to take good ones. Stay tuned... :D

thething.ca- 03-13-2007

drooling with anticipation... Please, if it's commercially available, include info on how to go about buying one.

Rayne00- 03-14-2007

Not sure who makes this. I will try to find out. Pics don't do this Justice. Looks much more impressive in person. Enjoy! >

I love the little eyeball poking out of the "neck"... never noticed that before. Looks great.

thething.ca- 03-15-2007

Yeah! This IS a beauty! How tall is it? Gorgeous!

Rayne00- 03-15-2007

It's just over 2 feet tall! It's pretty massive. I'm thinking on putting some gloss to it. There is some(the camera didn't pick it up), but I think it could use some more "slime." :)

thething.ca- 03-15-2007

Man! That is huge for a sculpt! What's it made of?

Rayne00- 03-15-2007

It is made of latex with pvc piping for frame work and a plywood base for support. :D

Holy shit! I almost entirely missed this thread. Nice model Rayne00, thanks for posting pics. You almost gave Stefan a coronary. Where did you get that from??? T
