Hi everyone, the name's Josh (or Joosh, nickname I picked up along the road of life). I was born in 1982, same year The Thing came out, so it's easy for me to remember how long ago the movie came up and how great it still holds up all these years later. I first saw The Thing about 5 years ago (2002) and thought it was great. I was working third shift doing security for a warehouse. I watched the movie before going into work...that was the creepiest night I'd ever had on that job! Everything was out to get me, I thought, haha. Through the years I've found more people that love the movie, but I find a lot of people that only saw it once years ago, or haven't seen it at all. I'm happy to bring them up to speed with what we all have in common: our appreciation of The Thing.
