Anyone have "Thing" related TV footage, making of,
I guess this would be the right place for this...Has anyone here a compilation VHS/DVD of television related "Thing" material from '82? What I'm thinking of is making of footage, movie reviews, features from news shows, etc. from the time of the film's release. I didn't get a VCR until '85 so I missed out on taping that kind of stuff. About 15 years ago I had a catalog from a place in Canada called Vortex Video that sold a tape of a making of footage. But I never bought it. I would be great to archive this stuff on DVD from good sources. Has anyone here already acquired stuff like this?

Ok. I still have my old catalog from the now defunct Video Vortex in Toronto Canada. Here was the description: The Making of John Carpenter's The Thing - 1982 Behind the scenes of The Thing - on the set - Rob Bottin. I would like to get my hands on this.
