Custom MacReady figure
Well, outside of the very super-duper item Todd sent me, later this week I will have the prize of my very small THING collection. custom made MacReady figure:

That's real leather for the jacket and the hair/beard were rooted in. The details on the flamethrower are amazing (it looks nearly identical to the diagram It Ain't Fuchs found). And he's just so...well...cute.
Unfortunately I don't have a working camera so additional images will be posted at the figure maker's site some time in the near future.
This talented artiste is the Toy Mangler http://www.toymangler.com whose done some amazing figures for Bill Moseley and private collectors.
He's about to start work on at least one more figure for me (my own character).
Worth the nearly 4 month wait. :)
