Google Earth photos of Outpost #31!
Here is a nice shot of the Outpost #31 site and the massive Salmon Glacier to the west. You can even make out the old Granduc Mine road to access the site from the towns of Stewart and Hyder to the south. Nice photo. This must be early Spring time. You can see Summit Lake at the top of the glacier. It hasn't drained yet. Man, I can't wait to go back. I just might make it a whole Summer vacation for myself, traveling all over northern British Columbia.
