HELP!!!!
Does anyone know how to beat the boss b4 the last stage. I'm referring to the moster that is in the ceiling that can hit you no matter where you are in the room. I read a walkthrough that said run on the centerline or something but I have been trying for weeks and cannot beat him. Any suggestions?

if you stand directly beneath it, it cannot hit you. least according to my memory... if not, i recommened strafing around it. never stop moving. strafe and shoot. if you have the grenade launcher, shoot a couple of HE grenades at it to lower its health. or, use the shotgun, cause that brings down health quickly as well. once it's in the red, use the grenade launcher to shoot flame grenades at it. or, the flamethrower, whichever you have. the trick is to just never stop moving. but i am pretty sure that it cannot hit you if you stand /directly/ beneath it. so if you can make it, stand under it and shoot it until it's weak. then run back and light it up (on fire).

when I beat it, I went right in front,shot it a few, got hurt, flamed it, it died, pretty easy, but it takes preserverance.

I found that if you have a soldier left with you, just before you open the door to that room, push the soldier towards it - the door will open, but because you haven't entered yourself, the next 'scene' where it falls fromthe ceiling doesn't start, and so you can shoot at and kill the walker in the cage without having to worry about the Boss Thing. After that, then you can enter with your soldier and he can take the hits whilst you shoot the crap out of it (still stood underneath, otherwise it's really hard work!)
