Greetings everyone! I just signed up and wanted to take a moment to properly introduce myself. My name is John and I am a 34 year old married man who lives in a small town called Perris in Southern California, (The land of fruits and nuts. Literally!). I have a two year old son that runs me ragged and keeps me on my toes. I have been in love with The Thing since the day I saw it. It is without a doubt one of Carpenter's best films. Second only to maybe Halloween. I remember as a kid in school I got in trouble for bringing a copy of Fangoria with me one time that had Norris' head on the cover. I also love all the old '80's horror stuff. Dawn of the Dead, ZOMBIE, My Bloody Valentine, CHUD, Basket Case, Motel Hell, all the old classics! I also like cult films such as Rocky Horror, Heavy Metal, The Wall, I Spit on Your Grave, Clockwork Orange, and so on. And I still enjoy old punk. Misfits, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, Black Flagg, ect. I had my wife help me shot this little introductory video. I figured it might help introduce me as well. This way you can see what my ugly mug looks like. Enjoy!

Well, if you're gonna tie me up can you at least put a movie on the TV while I wait? Something to pass the time, like Repo Man or The Shining. That and you have to let me turn my head.
