In from the cold Thanks you all for your thoughts and prayers. It means a lot, especially since I've been away from here for so long. I was doing well for awhile, almost 8 months and got involved with someone too early. I thought I could \"fix\" us both despite warnings from everyone I knew. I wanted to be right and went ahead with it anyway, I didn't fix either one of us and we both went out together. Last Friday, I checked myself into a detox and stayed there for five days. I got out Wednesday night and am getting back on the right track. Its a constant battle and I learned I can't let anything or anyone distract me from my sobriety, especially this early. Thank you again for your support and I'll be around on the forums more often.
Steve

I'm new here, but I just saw this and wanted to tell you that I admire your courage and what you've had to do to kick this habit. I grew up in a home knowing drug abuse all too well, and I've experienced the pain firsthand, it is one of the hardest struggles a human can overcome in life. To check yourself into rehab says a lot about your will and strength as a person, I admire you tremendously. I think I speak for everyone, and definately myself, that we're all behind you here, and only a pm away.
But we're still gonna have to give you the hot needle blood -*test*-('").....

Good luck getting through this. You've done it before and I'm sure you can do it again. See you at the next ThingFest I'm sure, eh?

Hi Steve,
Great to see you stop into the Outpost. We are all here for you. I can say I understand...it's a very tough road. But by no means does one have to stay on it, you are on the right path and in the right frame of mind for recovering. You have my info, contact me anytime you need.
Stay Strong,
Todd

Just remember Steve, true friends will always tell you the sh*t and honesty you don't want hear because they care.
It's the others that nod their head, say 'that's cool', and just go about their own laize faire way that needs to be avoided.
trustnoone31- 12-10-2006
Blood -*test*-('"), right.... Um, about that, runs away and slams the door locking it behind him. I'm not a THING, I just don't like needles. I'm always getting blood -*test*-('")s here, well one more won't hurt. Test away.
Seriously though, thank you all.
RuFiOh54- 12-10-2006
Yeah I realized in hindsight that was probably one of the dumbest things I could have said, I apologize.
trustnoone31- 12-10-2006
No not at all. I was just trying to resist a blood -*test*-('") and make people wonder if I'm The Thing.
RuFiOh54- 12-10-2006
In that case, it may just be less trouble to fry you....

Welcome Steve... Welcome to the Outpost, guess we'll have some fun here.. *grins meanly* .. *Takes out a flamethrower* Stay warm, and watch out for the infected ones... and you better not be one of them.
Thing Chick 101- 12-11-2006
You better watch out, I was the instructor for the advanced flame thrower training course years ago, and Trustnoone31 went through the intense course.
trustnoone31- 12-11-2006
No that was a dungeon of torture class you ordered from Slayer. The fire still hurt though.

Hello TNO#31, welcome back old boy.
It seems that the whole blood-*test*-('")ing is going to live it's own life.
I'll assume you don't fight us over a small blood-*test*-('"), hey?
Flamethrower or not, a -*test*-('") must be taken.
Be very welcomed back......and be very suspicious.
----hang in there, stay strong---It's all in the mind---

Hey trustnoone! Glad to see your up and about. We all hope you have a smooth recovery and if we could be there, we would give you a hand for you to climb out of that hole. May you have the strength to be yourself freely without burden everyday for the rest of your life.
