Just got this.
Got this game for Christmas. Pretty challenging, I must say. Doesn't feel like the film, but it's a fun game nonetheless.

The main complain about the game is that it is greatly scripted, which means that you can -*test*-('") one of your NPCs, he is human, then step into a new zone and he turns into a Thing. That's what annoys me the most in the game and what I've been trying to correct with my mod (with a new and improved version still to come, yes I know, I should work on it instead of posting :P ).

Yes, it's a very good game, especially for a movie-based one. My personal biggest issue was also the scripted sequences, and also how it didn't feel like it was truly paying homage to the film. I liked the trust/fear aspect and the creatures were fucking terrifying. So were the environments. Trust me though, it's not NEARLY as hard as Extermination.
