They're remaking The Day The Earth Stood Still Scott Derickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose) to direct. Starring Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly. I think this one's pretty much in the can as far as production goes. Not sure when the release date is scheduled. I always loved the original film. Gort scared the crap out of me.
