Looking for posters... Hi everybody
Im on the lookout for Thing posters but especially the UK Quad and the UK one sheet both rolled preferably. I thought here might be a good place to ask... If anyone wishs to part with their own or knows where I can obtain these please let me know!

The UK Quad is considered highly desirable. Not easy to get without some serious $$$. (I've never seen a genuine rolled one.)
The roled UK one sheet is also tough to find, but the folded one is fairly easy to get.

Have you ever seen full size copies of these posters? Im not fussy at this stage!

No, I haven't. I've seen those silly small "master prints" of the quad, but noTHING else.

Thanks anyway I`ll keep a look out. I bought the French poster and it arrived today. In much better condition than I thought but smells like Macreadys underwear...

Did you get it on eBay from weatherking? He has (had) some very nice ones, including the French One Panel.

I bought the French over size poster from pino001poste who has a shop called Belgian movie posters. Although I noticed he has listed another of the same poster which leads me to suspect I may not have an original...

By the way im looking at an original Japanese poster 20 x 29. How much would I expect to payfor it. Its currently at $97.38 CAD

I think you'll have a original with this guy. It seems he/she specializes in posters. Whatever you do, AVOID the one that keeps circulating that lists the US glowface signed by the cast. It's a fake.
As for the Japanese poster, that's about the right price, but be prepared to pay more. I hope you get this one. I got mine for about a hundred bucks Canadian too.

I've got the Japanese poster already dry mounted and matted (I'm a custom picture framer) if anyone's interested. I also have the German lobby cards (2 sets, uncut) drymounted and matted and the Australian daybill drymounted. All ready to be framed.
I'm willing to sell them all, just make an offer and I'll get back to you.
