I got mine yesterday! It's a beauty! All fans of the movie should own this diorama! Even my Dad was impressed by it. If you knew him, you'd be shocked! lol

I'm checking my mail every day now, eagerly awaiting its arrival from SOTA... Great to hear it kicks ass Stef, can't wait to see it first hand! T

This box set just arrived from SOTA Toys. A HUGE thanks to Jed Haigh at SOTA for sending Outpost #31 this la-*test*-('") THING figure. Haven't opened it up yet but it looks sweet indeed - pics and review soon. SOTA did a great job on this and every THING fan should scoop one up - this sells for only $25 USD. Worth every penny. The detail on this figure is just incredible, Mac looks great, and the Kennel-Thing looks super and includes two sled dogs seen in the film; one wrapped entirely in tentacles and the dog that gets shot. There are 4 posable tentacles (Mac is posable as well) and the kennel makes a nice backdrop, the screen door actually closes. Great work from SOTA and compliments the incredible Norris Spider-Head that was released last Fall. All I can think now is hope that SOTA does another THING figure (Norwegian-Thing complete with shovel, sheet, and cans of Karosin) Hint, Hint. Pics soon... T

I'm very impressed by it! I'd be willing to pay several hundered dollars for a complete Outpost diorama with the quality that SOTA puts into it's models. Of course, any other THE THING pieces would be most welcome! Yes, I have the spiderhead too.
