Making the game
I just beat the game.. again, it actually is a pretty excellent game. I'm surprised no body here is a BIG fan of the game here, besides me. Click on "Trailer", don't worry they just misnamed it. It's actually a behind the scenes like thing for the game. It's pretty cool. I didn't know the game changed everytime you played it, but hey. You learn something new everyday. http://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/t/thething/

Interesting video, and it gave me the opportunity to see faces of some of the guys I'm trying to contact. No Diarmid Campbell though, it could have been cool to see him. :)

Do you guys remember when Cam changed the skin of one of the characters from the game to look exactly like him, than made it into his avatar? The good ol' times.

What are the differences in the German version ?

Schnizi- 01-31-2007

Hmmm, were to begin.... there's so many. Well, these ones bothered me most: -No blood anywhere You don't see blood on walls, on the floor, on dead bodies you find, nowhere -This also includes NPCs. Enemies and allies don't bleed. - A lot of background details were removed. I can't tell you exactly what, since I never played the US version, but they removed almost every single corpse and anything else the guy who rated it thought of as "too gruesome", which must be a lot, since all the corridors you walk through look very clean, almost sterile -There's almost no NPC "fear interaction". If an NPC is too scared it just won't follow you. No vomiting, no screaming, nothing -According to a video magazine I read, some cutscenes were removed because they are "too violent" -The german dubbing is horrible ...etc, and so on, and so on. I don't want to say that I'm a bloodthirsty bastard or something, but I tried to play it and stopped because it just didn't feel right. I was really frustrated about the removal of the "fear interaction" because it sounds brilliant :D
