My overall view of the game.
I thought it was pretty damn good, especially for a game of its stature. It's highly underrated because it was mainly proposed as a treat for fans of The Thing and not many reviewers understood that. There were some major gameplay flaws here and there (such as the goddamn controls!), but I personally think the trust/fear aspect was used with a very high effect. I mean, it seemed pretty damn innovative to me and I'm surprised that it wasn't used in other games. Plus, the monsters were fucking barf-inducing! that is seriously some of the best monster design I've seen in any game thus far (especially the second boss holy shit!)

Yeah I think if somebody else remade this game with better graphics better controls and a deeper fear/trust system it would be a hit! (or a least with us :))

Well, I doubt any game designers would bother remaking a game like this. Remakes of games usually happen because they were so popular when first released, like Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil. Although, it would benefit greatly if they were to remake it.
