PC or Xbox version? Hi,
I have the PC version but haven't had a chance to get into it much. But now see that my local store has an Xbox version. Is one any better than the other?
Thanks.

No, just ports. The PC version is the best, it also offers a new patch which could be very usefull on the PC and creates a new view point in the game.

ANd you could also use my "mod" on the PC version. ^^ (well, whenever it's done anyway)

thanks! Thanks for the info.
I must be old, but I find it weird to have an RPG/adventure style game on a console. Myst on Xbox? Just doesn't seem right.
Thanks, I'll stick with my PC one.

Yeah, just get the mod done, can't wait to play it :P Very nice you can built such modifications for a game which doesn't allow mods like games such as Half-Life. I'm very curious at the end result.

So now I have the xbox version too.
Gary, is there a download for your mod I can try on the PC one?
Or should I give my PC copy away to someone that may want it? Hmm.. suggestions?

You can download my first (and very buggy) version of the mod here :

Nicely done, I'm gonna try it very soon.

Don't forget I have done this mod with an hexadecimal editor, before having access to the engine. And read the readme carefully to avoid installation problems.
I'm working on a next version of the mod with still unscripted burstouts and the fact that NPCs can go from one level to another, but there will be some bugs (like the flashlight not working the way it should) because I have been given an older version of the mod.
