PROJECT GRIZZLY (1996)
Anyone seen this? Benson?? I saw this at the vid store and of course rented it for a look with all the bear talk going on here as of late. I recommend you all SKIP this one. This is a Canadian documentary about a redneck from Northern Ontario who constructs a bear-proof suit with all his drinking buddies and plans to walk amongst the Grizzlies, which after all this build-up he never actually does. Hahaha! Oh, yeah, I saw this one. I remember when it came out, the local DJs on the morning shows interviewed the guy, and basically ripped him a new one for wasting his time and money on that suit.

Troy Hurtubise is GOD! You should see all his whacky inventions. Even the US and Canadian military is looking into some of them. A little nutty? YES! A lot eccentric? More certainly! Stuff like his fire paste and anti explosives armour (called 1313) are amazing! Plus, the guy is willing to be the guinea pig in many of his experiments. Glad to see you were doing some anti-grizzly research before our camping trip, bud! :D ;)
