Question about Morricones score - Instruments used?
Does anyone know what the keyboard/synthesizer was that Morricone used for the soundtrack? I know that Carpenter used his own Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 (below) for tracks used in his films like 'The Fog', 'Halloween' and 'Escape From New York'

that's a good question, Jon. Very likely that Butterman knows this. Check his comments on the Thing at 'You Tube' Maybe you get lucky there.

To be honest, I thought the opening track (or Humanity II) was Carpenter as he's more known for his electronic score in some of his films. I did not even associate the opening score with Morricone until I obtained the soundtrack.
