Soy. WTF! I was leaning pretty hard on concentrated soy as a source of protein (in the form of veggie burgers). I thought they were the magic bullet: low cards and fat, high protein.
Now I read that they have estrogenic properties.
As a 35 year old man, I know that my -*test*-('")osterone is never going to be as high as it is now, again. Testosterone is the key hormone to muscle size and density.
I cannot afford to upset my hormone balance if I want to get the physique that I am striving for everyday.
So I am going to virtually eliminate concentrated soy from my diet.
What's the answer now? How do I get quick, clean protein? Whey?
Sure, it seems to be the new magic bullet, but what are we going to find is the downside to too much whey?
I suspect that the best source of protein is from lean, organically raised meats and eggs.
Aside from that, can anyone suggest a clean protein shake?

Skip soy.
Get your protein from isolate whey protein if you are looking for a shake source. Get the natural flavor free from sweetners and junk and flavor it yourself with yogurt, fruit, etc.
Food protein comes from egg whites, fish, chicken, lean red meat.
My breakfast this morning was:
-5 whites, 2 whole scrambled eggs with diced onion and red pepper, rice, and cooked in olive oil. Flavored with coarse pepper and chili powder.
-1 piece of rye flaxsed bread toasted with lots of natural peanut butter on it.
-Multi-Vit/Min, & chewable Vit. C 500g and a green tea.
Took me about 18 mins to make this breakfast, the rice was already cooked.
