The Thing in MAD magazine..............
2 questions for you: 1. Does anyone if any issue of MAD magazine features one of their standard movie satires of The Thing? I'd love to see that if it exists. 2. Does anyone have a copy of the issue which has this gimmick - an article making a joke about how there are so many Rocky sequels that it will be necessary to mix Rocky movies with other movies. In each panel of the article, it gives an example. For instance there is "Rocky Wars" in which they have a picture of Rocky in a ring with Darth Vader. An other example would be "Rockydaeus" which has a picture of Rocky in a ring, playing a harpsichord, with a Baroque hair piece ala Mozart. Well, one is "The Thing in the Ring" . The picture is Rocky in the ring against a Thing. The Thing is a split face like the Norwegian corpse but the two faces are Mr. T from part III and Ivan Drago from part IV. It has multiple arms with boxing gloves on. Also there are two dog heads sticking out. In the audience, you can see a bunch of men wearing the snow outfits. They have beards and goggles on. There are also Huskies sitting next to them!! Very funny if you happen to be a fan of the movie! :lol: :lol: Anyone know what I'm talking about? Anyone else seen it???
