The Thing soundtrack
just wanted to say i'm a huge fan of The Thing film, but Ennio Morricone's score is what really makes the movie chilling. my question to you is, would it be possible to create some sorta online petition to get Varese Sarabande to reissue this soundtrack? i've emailed them about it and they said they had no plans of rereleasing it anytime soon which I think is an absolute crime. the promo lp can be obtained fairly easily on ebay but the cd usually sells for $30+ which i'm unwilling to spend. there have to be thousands of other fans out there who love the soundtrack as much as I do. plausible or a waste of time? besides, I thought I read somewhere that there was quite a bit of music left out of the film because Carpenter was a control freak about it. surely a reissue with new unreleased music from the film would pique everyone's interest, eh?

I've looked all over for cd's on eBay n whatnot, but no luck. Can't even find it to download.

I only found to download Ennio Moricone's Humanity 1, and i found it somehow... Fantastic. I tried searching the others, no luck :(.

These tracks are only 6 seconds long, dude. They're more like sound clips.

Future Filmmaker, no. There are full version (all tracks 128kbps).

I've tried it again and the download speeds are like 2.5 kbps, even on my broadband connection. When I attempt to download them, they cut off early at about the six second mark. Not only that, but Windows doesn't recognize the file, so I had to type in .mp3 when I downloaded it. I don't know if I trust a foreign site like that, they could have bugs on it.

I don't want to be rude or offensive to @ndrew, but i have never trust Russian sites and i will never.
