Time Capsule 2012 - 2032
Some of you might have read this on the site but we plan to bury a time capsule at the site on the trip up to Stewart in 2012 for the 30th Ann. SPC and I had thought of doing this on the first trip in 2003 but we became pretty distracted when we actually found reamains of the camp and chopper. We're gonna buy a real time capsule (see links below) and fill it with THING memorabilia and bury it on the site of Outpost #31. The plan will be to go back and open it up in 2032 on the film's 50th Anniversary. We'll have it so fans can send in items or letters to put in the capsule writing about stuff like when they first saw the film, etc. Maybe the novel, pics, a copy of the video game, stuff like that.
