OK, for a month I really fell off regular hard training through summer. I did spend a LOT of time outdoors up north, camping cottaging and fishing. I'm also another year older this August: #33 now. It was a very good summer and fortunately it seems to be sticking around. I've been back at it hard the past week, hitting the gym and back in the pool. The weights feel heavy and the water seems a lot thicker but getting back into the swing of THING's. I hope you guys who posted are still sticking with it... Train Hard, T

Mon. Sept. 24th This was a funny easy combo today, hit Traps and Abs together. Traps DB Shrugs Barbell Shrugs Abs Inc. crunches Crunches Roman chair leg raises Ball twists 35 min. cardio: seat bike, stairs, elliptical mix

Off day from the gym today but did 45min of a hike/jog through the trails of Kitchener, ON at 8am this morning. It was 30C/86F and sunny, a gorgeous morning. It's 38C/100F with the Humidex this evening up in Port Perry. Just had a torrential downpour. Long live summer. (FF, by 2009 I indeed plan to be in good enough shape to ward off any and all bear attacks up in Stewart.)

Wed. Sept. 26th First time checking out the brand new Legends Centre pool here, it rocks. 25m lanes, lagoon section with beach entry, waterfall, hot tub, water slide, sauna. Lots of seniors floating around, but cutie lifeguards. 8:00am - SWIM 1000m of mixed stroke drills, finished with 100m of butterfly which kicked my ass.

Thurs. Sept. 27th Popeye's Gym in Kitchener, ON. 9pm: Warm-up: 5 min. cardio & stretching Delts 30 min. cardio: treadmill, stairs, bike

Mon. Oct. 1st 8am: SWIM 60 mins. of mostly freestyle and some breast. Sore from moving this weekend did some serious stretching, hot tub.
