what can i do with my legs?
a bunch of years ago, i busted up my knee real good, i got a torn miniscus. i eventually had surgery done to it and it was alright until i was a mailman. the running around and twisting my legts undid the surgery and did something else to my leg oh which i don't know. so anyway, at the present, due to my damn knee, i'm always feeling pain in my leg and it's kept me from doing anything physical, BUT... i found that if i work out my leg, it helps the pain for a while. what i would like to know is what ways should i work out my leg cause i don't wanna overdo it and make my knee and leg even worse. any help would be great.

Hi VLYGAR, Since you are dealing with an injury, what sounds like a long-term injury involving past surgery all I am going to suggest is to see a physiotherapist. If it was fairly recent, re-injuring your knee while at work may be in your favor... How old are you and what type of work out/exercise makes your knee feel better? Do not do anything that aggravates it. Again, get it looked at by a professional. Go to see your doctor, get referred to a sports medicine clinic for an MRI, etc. T

i'm 24, i got the injury i think when i was 18, had it fixed when i was 19-20 and messed it up again when i was 23. the workout's i do with my legs are usually leg presses, leg curls, and leg extensions. plus i try to ride the bike for 5 minutes when i go to the gym. when i get healthcare again, i will be heading to the doctor ASAP.

Sorry to hear you do not have healthcare. That must suck. If your knee feels better after a light workout and does not hurt at all while exercising it I see no harm, however I am not a doctor/physiotherapist. Be careful, go slow & easy - any (bad) pain at all and stop immediately. Good luck, T
