What is the best VHS/DVD cover of The Thing?
I was wondering what your favourite VHS/DVD cover of The Thing is. Mine is this one http://www.outpost31.com/todd/collection/cpicUKVHS.htm. When I was a child, I thought that this cover was freaky, and I wondered what the film was about. I wish that I own that cover. Grrrrr to you Todd :wink: Talking about The Thing covers, I saw this picture in Todd's collection, and it says it is from the UK. http://www.outpost31.com/todd/collection/cpicukdvd.htm I can't find it anywhere, and the only version I can find is this http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/2440/The-Thing/Product.html. Could some one help me? Thanks :D

That is the original dvd cover for The Thing, when the game came out, it got re-released with new packaging (same disc though) best bet is to have a look on eBay or Amazon marketplace. my fav cover is the Japanese LD with the landscape

Could some one help me? Thanks :D Yes, it's the cover of the UK release (the first Thing DVD I purchased and the first time I saw the movie...ah, good times!) as well as my favourite cover. It looks creepy, original but still doesn't spoil too much about the movie.

i managed to grab a cop yof the remastered in slipcase and digipack. well happy with that. still have my original r1 dvd though

I would make one with that image (or, better yet, the "lost silhouettes" variant) as the front cover, but, unfortunately, it would have no use with the R1 Collector's Edition that I have... :)
