Who do you think had the most painful death?
If you had to choose a death that one of the characters suffered, who's would you pick? IOW, who do you think suffered the most? Let's stick to deaths we see on screen inflicted by the Thing: 1. Bennings - suffers assimliation process 2. Copper - dies of shock after having his arms bitten off 3. Windows - his face completey mauled 4. Gary - fingers diging under the skin of your face can't possibly exactly feel nice. I guess I would say Windows has the most excrutiating appearing death. Oh, BTW, I'm sorry if this has been discussed before.

Don't forget Norris. He had some painful moments too. I think everyone had a painfull process but Windows had the most awfull. How should he had felt when his head was into Palmer's? I think Benning's death wasn't that bad.

You have forgotten very probable death of Mac and Childs (assuming they were humans). I think freezeing to death isn't quite nice feeling so I might bet for them.

Remember, I said of the deaths that the Thing is directly responsible for ON SCREEN. I think Windows got the worst of it.

My vote goes to Garry. Having another man shove his fingers down my throat does not sound like fun. Especially when those fingers start to go under my skin and fuse with my face. Garry must have been so angry as well, knowing that MacReady and Nauls were a few feet away and had no idea that he was in trouble.
