We are finally able to thaw out our own bones here, yes, I watch The Thing during snow storms, and have watched it a lot over this past winter! I haven't considered myself to be a fan (fanatic), but it seems I've been assimilated! Watching The Thing DVD with it's commentaries and special features has got me hooked. Kurt and John are old friends and it reveals how a good working relationship can have a great impact on the creative juices. That being said, I've looked at The Thing sites for a goof I've found, and can't believe after 26 years that it hasn't been noticed before! Chapter and clock counter is 20, 52:20. There's a man in the last room on the right as Kurt is running towards Blair's gunfire. Who goes there?

You are right, there is someone in that room, looks as if they are caught in a reflection from a mirror and it sure looks like Keith David. I'd bet money that it is him. Maybe someone can post a screen capture? You gotta be quick with the Pause button. KatThing, you should add your goof to the Goofs thread in the Movie forum and I will soon add it to the site. Yes, yes, I will conduct the -*test*-('"). Copper wire is already heating up and Future Filmmaker, my trusted accomplise, will point a flame-thrower in your direction. Now, I hope we can keep the infirmary fire free for an extended period of time.....we haven't had that in more than 6 months. :wink:

Okay, that's good, cause I ain't goin with Norris. But don't use that rough rope, it looks awful scratchy. And if I Thing-out, be quick with the flame thrower. And make sure the knife's clean too! Mayhap I've seen this movie too many times?
