YOU are THE THING. What would you do to survive the outpost
Imagine if you were the thing (lol) What would you do to survive mac and the rest of the crew and also the swed oh i mean norwegians. What mistakes did you think that the thing did? I personally wonder why the thing didnt just blow up the generator in the first place, the crew would have died. Or why didnt the thing as palmer/norris just take a shotgun and try to kill everybody while they where sleeping. The shotgun theory may be risky. Bullets dont kill it but somebody maybe would manage to torch the thing so it chose to be more stealthy and move in shadows as its seems as this is the things prefered behavior. And another thing. Why didnt the thing just go off with the norweigans helicopter once it assimilated its first victim. Or the us outposts helicopter. Maybe it hadnt assimilated the ones who knew how to man the choppers, but the thing is very intelligent, couldnt it just do it without having assimilated a pilot. And there is a possibility that palmer whas infected when the chopper was available. But still it built some sort of a spacecraft. Maybe its true what some people here believe that the thing never wanted to reach civilized areas. Maybe the thing is a disease like i believe or a own race or what ever and that some alien races far out in the galaxy had launched a massive attempt to neutralize this extremely deadly organism that was a massive threat for all living beings in this universe and the thing landed on earth, on a place where it believed no one would look for it.
